Shallow thanks today: I am grateful for all the businesses that opened at midnight on Black Friday, and grateful that the University of Nebraska scheduled a game for 11 AM so that by the time I ventured out to pick up a few things at random stores, there was zero traffic, few lines, and almost no crowds.
The best Black Friday shopping I’ve ever done in public. Ever.
