Sunday Twitter Roundup

Here’s what you missed because you still don’t have a Twitter account…

If I wrote fiction, this would be good advice. But some of it applies to what I write too.

In which my parents realize it could have been so much worse.

If I had more strength of mind, I’d write a whole rant about this. But instead I’m playing Fox News: I report, you decide.

“I believe I can fly!”

John Boehner needs a timeout.

But on a serious note, this is the most important piece of writing I read this week. So important that I’m considering making my Pop Culture and AP classes read it. The irony? I read it while on the treadmill…

The Return of Sunday Twitter Roundup!

So the holidays are over (though I haven’t put away my Christmas decorations…so much easier to get out than clean up…) and so I return to a sense of routine, which includes the Sunday Twitter Roundup. Here’s what you missed, Deanne, since you aren’t on Twitter.

This math study is actually quite interesting. I know that kids tend to use math as a self-selector of being smart or not, but if this study is valid, then we need to change that paradigm.

I need to staple this to my forehead.

Much irreverence here, but too funny to not share.

If I had unlimited funds, I would make this happen.

And what I really wish I was doing on New Years Eve: watching this.

Sunday Twitter Roundup

‘Twas a slow week, mostly because I took full advantage of time away from school and accomplished two major feats: completely caught up in grading and completely cleaned out my TiVo.

If only laws protected humans as well as they protect manatees.

This worries me. A lot.

And honestly, so does this.

But to ease the pain, there’s the possibility of this.

And I hate people spending money on me, but I didn’t, this would be amazing.

Sunday Twitter Roundup

Another week of happy fun times on Twitter…

Naughty but funny. If I had kids, I’d totally be using these.

Construction has started across the hallway from me...in a week, I’ll be out of my classroom for 2 weeks.

The MUST-SEE VIDEO of the season. For reals.

What I go back to when I don’t like my face.

That’s about it for this week…a whole lotta shenanigans. So glad I only work for 2 days this week, and that it’s a low-key week. I need that.

Sunday Twitter Roundup

A reminder that if you’re missing my daily gratitude posts, I’m doing them over at my other blog.

Here’s what you missed on Twitter this week…

When I die, I’d like my obit to have an ending similar to this one.

The owner of Papa John’s is slashing employee’s hours so he doesn’t have to provide health insurance, and raising the cost of pizzas, and this is where he lives. (And don’t forget all the free pizzas he’s giving away…)

No lie–I’m crazy excited at this prospect.

Got a cold? Here’s how effective all those home remedies are.

Post-election racism. What I love most about this story is that the woman isn’t even registered to vote.

And finally, so so so much truth.

Bonus: the vlog.
