Today I was grocery shopping, and my local grocer had a special on a bag of mixed fruit. Seeing those apples and oranges, prebagged, and realizing it’s November, triggered a memory from high school.
To be in the choir program in Montana, all students were required to sell boxes of fruit for the holidays. I hated selling those boxes of fruit so much, mostly because we each had a quota, and I am a horrendous salesperson so I don’t think I ever made the quota. If I did, it was barely, and probably thanks to my parents.
So today, I’m grateful that I don’t have to sell boxes of fruit in November.

That is a wonderful thing to be grateful for! I'm also grateful that I don't have to wear hideous silky choir dresses. 🙂
I am grateful I don't have to sew said dresses ;-). Or haul fruit. Or beg my friends to buy it from my kids. Haha
