Friday night I went to Trader Joe’s for some groceries, and they already had a giant display of Candy Cane Joe-Joes out. So of course, I bought a box. And one for each of my sisters. And when I took Jennie’s box to her on Saturday, she cracked up, because she had bought me a box as well.
Today as I was finishing up some work and eating my daily yogurt, I cleared a piece of paper off my iPad cart, and I saw it–a baggie with two Candy Cane Joe-Joes that I had forgotten I took out of my lunch bag, so their minty mintness would not contaminate the rest of my food.
It really is the small things in life, some days.
Today, I am grateful for two Candy Cane Joe-Joes.
