Goals.

I feel a sense of foreboding about the upcoming season, and I’m not quite sure why. So I’m taking preventative measures just in case: taking my Seasonal Affective Disorder lamp with me to school, spending time each evening to tidy my surroundings, and setting goals for the month.

The goals are small and manageable, but a few are also challenging enough that I’ll be stretched by the end of the month.
Goals and routines help me stay grounded and take the guesswork out of the question “what should I do next?” So I’m grateful for goals.
One of those goals, by the way, is to finish my book…a fitting way to end November 2014, since the first draft of the book was finished at the end of November 2011.
