Oh, today’s movie is a goodie, and one I haven’t seen forever. It encapsulates what I love and hate about this season: hope! oh my, the ever-loving hope! and despair! despair in realizing IT IS A MOVIE and not real life.
It’s While You Were Sleeping, folks. And if you missed this cheesy romantic-comedy back in the mid-90s when Sandra Bullock was the go-to girl for rom-coms, then you are missing out. So many quotable lines…some that I’m actually a little sick of at this point, but whatever.
This movie makes me want to move to Chicago, because magical things happen in Chicago. This was an absolute delight to see again, and should be on anyone’s Christmas movie list.
And today’s sad song? This one’s for my dad, who loves the Everly Brothers. I love them too, by the way, But perhaps they need the help of a professional?
Where do you find this stuff? We had never heard this one.
