I’ve been so fortunate throughout my life that most of my work peers–no matter where I work–are great people and fun to work with.
Today we had a 2 hour inservice, and for 90 minutes we collaborated with teachers in other curricular areas. So I talked with the AP Government and AP US History teachers about how our content and skills align, and how we can reinforce student skills.
I enjoyed talking and sharing with those teachers, and was reminded again how lucky I am to work with the people I do.
So today, I am grateful for the staff at Bellevue West. In a lot of places, professional development is a dirty word, but today, it was actually productive and enlightening.
