When you go to lunch with a friend, check your debit card closely to make sure it’s actually yours. Because if you and your friend bank at the same place and have the exact same debit card, and you didn’t check to make sure your server gave you the correct debit card back, your friend might unwittingly use your debit card to buy something way across town.
