The stress of Friday morphed into excessive weather anxiety on Saturday.
Seriously–local media whipped up the entire city into a complete frenzy over impending storms. I don’t mean to minimize the importance of being informed and prepared, but I spent the better part of yesterday tracking radar and trying to figure out if it was safe to stay in my apartment, get my haircut, or if I should just duck and cover in my parents’ basement for eight hours.
It was exhausting.
And I didn’t sleep well, and I have a ton to grade, and I’m still anxious about being robbed and all…
All of which is a lame excuse to my tens of readers that I haven’t yet finished the Mormon part of my story. I have ideas percolating, but 48 hours of constant stress have rendered me relatively, well, stupid.
So I’m gonna wait a day to finish the series, until I’m in a better frame of mind.
In the meantime, if you’ve never seen me talk about my job, watch this.
I especially love the part when I say it was a low-key week. 20 hours later, that would all change.
Oh, the thoughts that ran through my mind when I watched the last part of this week's vlog earlier today — the foreshadowing/cliffhanger/setup/ whatever-the-correct-term-is that you movie/tv people use!
