First day of 2nd Semester.
Two new groups of kids.
(Good kids, as far as I can tell)
Plan time is now with my friend Nikki…and today we actually worked during our plan time and kept the shenanigans to a minimum.
And then I walked outside at the end of the day. It didn’t feel real. It was warm. I slowed my walk to the car, because after 9 hours in a windowless building and knowing the sun would set by the time my piano lesson was over, I wanted to savor it.
It was lovely and glorious. It was spring, smack dab in the middle of winter. The next five days, according to weather.com, promises more of the same, though a little cooler. Highs in the 50s, not 60s.
But still: it’s JANUARY.
Ahhhhh….
