I finished the first draft of my book. Oh, it’s pretty horrible, and will take extensive editing to get it in shape to send out to publishers–which I fully plan to do–but it’s done.

I wrote a book.

And today, I’m grateful to my friend Stueve for peer pressuring me into writing it. He’s not gonna be grateful in about six months when I keep nagging him for feedback and he tells me to shut up.

But today, I’m grateful for him.
