Today I am grateful for what I’m sure is going to be the last nice day. I walked out this morning with a scarf, a coat, and mittens. The mittens did not stay on, and by the time I got to school, I was actually too warm.
When I finally walked out of the building at 4:40 PM, I carried my coat, no scarf, no mittens. I ran a couple of errands and wasn’t ever chilly.
I love these nice little bits of extended warmish fall weather. By this time last year, we’d already seen a couple inches of snow. And I do like the snow, but I’m glad I was able to enjoy at least a couple minutes of fresh air on what is sure to be the last coatless day for a while.
