1st Hour. In the middle of a lively discussion about video games, a student raises her hand.
“Why can’t this class be a year long?”
5th Hour. As kids walk in, many of them ask, “Can we just read our books today?”
7th Hour. During a discussion about the Declaration of Independence, a student draws up a plan to start a revolution in the classroom to crown me Queen Rowse, ruler of Rowseapolis.
Bonus: new episodes of Psych.
Grateful for kids that make me keep coming back and for TV that Deanne will quote at me for the next week while I remind her that I am usually working while the show is on so I don’t retain lines the way she does.
