I left my classroom this morning under strict instructions to not return anytime soon.
When I came back. My desk and chair were covered in Saran Wrap, but there was also a message on my door and on my wall.
It's the last day for seniors.
This morning in my box were more thank you cards. Most seniors look alternately petrified and elated.
And while I don't have the same attachment to students that I did when I coached speech, I'm still feeling a little sentimental today.
