1. My students wrote hilarious poems today.
2. It was a jeans day.
3. A student added to the itinerary on the board: “Give Ms. Rowse hugs.” One of my classes has been rough going lately, and word has gotten out about what a troll of a teacher I am. Clearly, later classes don’t agree that I am a troll.
4. Another student discovered my old nickname of J Ro. He called me that today. It made my heart sing a little.
5. I spent the evening judging the improv night at the school. Fun times.
