I had the opportunity to see the pilot in August. It was the sole new program amongst all networks that I thought would do very well. What I remember more than anything was how it “popped” on screen….it’s so vivid, so colorful….without emphasizing or selling it, ABC has found a niche for those with HDTV that isn’t sports or a “rain-forest-type” documentary….excuse the ramble

Jen–thanks for the video link! It really is a great show.Mike–I am IN LOVE with the production design on this show. It is so unlike anything else…and the writing is quite smart, which is so rare these days.Deanne–when Olive said that line last night, my mind instantly went to driving in the white Reliant along River Road in Great Falls, singing at the top of our lungs. Good times, fun times.
See now I turned the TV on at just that moment and had a whiskey foxtrot tango moment. I do like Kristin Chenoweth..at least I think I do…maybe.
