I’ve been in bed for the past 10 days with the worst cold/flu I’ve ever experienced. But today I didn’t mind convalescing, because I had football to watch all day. From 10:30 AM until midnight, I watched football, and I haven’t done that in years. I did fall asleep during the Rose Bowl, but that nap proved to be helpful in keeping me alert for the Fiesta Bowl, which was the BEST game all day.
I brought home all kinds of work to do during the break, and I’m frustrated that I didn’t get any of it done. I suppose I’ll just have to be super-disciplined at the start of the semester to catch up.
I saw The Pursuit of Happyness. It was okay. The buzz surrounding it was a little overrated, I think. Also finally saw Scoop (Woody Allen’s most recent pic) and loved it! It was quite entertaining. Since I’m heading back to Ohio on Thursday, Dreamgirls will have to wait until I get back there. Three weeks in Omaha went so fast. Especially since I was in bed for most of those days. Hope I’m feeling better tomorrow so I can make up for some lost time!
i saw scoop! not sure i liked it all that much. maybe it’s woody allen. but that girl seemed to try too hard too.
i DID like the fiesta bowl, though! good luck getting caught up.
