First, it’s cold today. I doubt it got much above 40 degrees, and the wind was brutal. I’m making chili for dinner tonight, as a result. I’m a lot more annoyed with cold now that I have to walk in it. I didn’t mind it so much when I drove everywhere.
Second, I can’t believe October is almost over. I’m starting to panic with all the work I need to get done before the end of the semester. I know it will get done–it always does. But Holy Cow! As my family’s website days, 63 days until Christmas, which means only about 50 or so are left in this semester.
Third, I love my shoes. But I keep tripping in them and twisting my ankle. It’s bothersome. They fit fine, I’m just a klutz. I’m sure no matter what shoes I was wearing, I’d be twisting my ankle. Law of averages, what with all the walking I’m doing.
And finally, I’m so glad it’s Monday night. Guaranteed good TV, and that usually makes me happy.
now that i’ve discovered how to take the bus to work i’m thinking of bussing here on snowy days. but that would mean walking the half mile from the bus stop – in the cold – and snow – and ice – with poor shoes and jacket most likely. i’ll just think of your suffering and that might make me tougher. good luck!
