What I Learned This Week In School

This was a very hard week for me, but I did learn a couple of things. In Theory and Methods, I learned that I don’t like Communists because they don’t really believe in the idea of people being able to choose for themselves. In the teaching class, I learned that the media class I put together at West was right on in terms of looking at popular culture in a scholarly way. In Internet Communities, I learned all about Craigslist. Apparently you can buy or find anything on that site. And then today I taught a college class for the first time, and I learned (or re-learned) that I really, really, really love teaching.

After school was over today, I learned that weekends are a blessing, and that anytime I am feeling down, there is a series of easy pick-me-ups. First, call a friend. Second, eat a good dinner. Finally, watch some well-written television. That’s what I did tonight, and I feel so much better.

Sephora tomorrow!!!

  1. I love craigslist! I have found a bunch of stuff on there to buy, but luckily (I guess) it’s always sold when I call.
